Australian Flight Data

How current is this data?

Short answer: punctuality to Jul 2026, traffic to Jun 2026. Never today.

Each series is published on its own schedule, and each arrives with a different lag. That is why figures on the same page can end in different months, and why every section on this site is labelled with its own cut-off rather than a single site-wide date.

Where each figure stands right now

SeriesLatest monthBehind by
Punctuality and cancellations Jul 2026 2 months
Route passenger traffic Jun 2026 3 months
Airport traffic Apr 2026 5 months
International passenger traffic May 2026 4 months

Lags are measured from the month this page was last rebuilt, so they move when publication slips. Right now the spread runs from 2 to 5 months.

Why you will never see "this month"

Wording like "this month" or "currently" would be false on every page of this site. Each figure states the period it covers. If a page says "12 months to Jul 2026", that is exactly what it means.

Gaps are real

Where a line breaks, that route reported no services that month — it is not missing data. Through 2020 and 2021 the number of routes reporting fell by roughly two thirds as services were suspended. The charts show that collapse as it happened rather than smoothing over it.
